What is Localization?
The adaption of a certain website, resource, or product is referred to as localization. Simply said, it is the act of adapting material to meet the needs of a certain location.
When it comes to localization, material must adhere to acceptable cultural standards in the target market and speak directly to them. It’s a more complicated version of the translation, with more subtleties thrown in.
Formats and anticipated use standards, for example, are part of localization. This can include things like:
• Numbers, date, and time formats
• Currency types used
• Keyboard formats used
• Symbols, icons, and punctuations
• Text and image content sensitivities
• Different legalities on locale
